The joy of posing newborns

The baby steals the show. You have to be patient and wait for the perfect moment to take the picture, and when you do, it's just the best feeling. The moment is so special and the photo is absolutely priceless. The baby's eyes tell the whole story, they really do say it all. It's like they're speaking directly to you, and that's what makes the picture so amazing.

Details

I truly enjoy capturing all the details. "There is something magical about capturing those moments." The tiny curl of little fingers, the soft soles of little feet, each one a perfect miniature masterpiece. Every dimple, every delicate smile tells the story of a new life. Before you know it, those little hands that once wrapped around just one of your fingers are reaching for the stars, and those tiny feet that fit in the palm of your hand are racing ahead of you down the sidewalk. These moments are so sweet, so brief — which is why capturing them matters. Time moves fast, but a beautiful image makes it stand still forever."

I am really loving this new level of creativity, it's amazing to see the final result come together. The attention to detail is incredible, but it's so worth it - the end product is truly a work of art. Every piece falls into place, and when it's all complete, it's just fantastic. The process can be intricate, but the sense of accomplishment is great, and that's what makes the image so rewarding.

My History

I am a portrait photographer based in Lake Forest - Orange County, California. I have been capturing beautiful images for over 35 years. Growing up in Indiana, inspired by my family and friends, I found my passion for photography. It was my love of the ocean and mountains along with a certain California sports photographer (now my husband), that ultimately called me to make Orange County my home. Published and award winning, I have set myself apart with my desire for detail, unique image designs, and fine art portraiture. My style caters to "themed" sessions, as well as the avant-garde, and every point in between. At the heart of my work is a genuine connection with each client. I believe that feeling comfortable with your photographer is essential — when that trust is established, your true expressions and personality flow naturally through the lens. The result is not just a session, but a fun, memorable, and deeply personal experience. Every session is customized to tell your story — brought to life through carefully composed images, artful digital backgrounds, and beautifully designed albums. Each finished piece is a truly one-of-a-kind work of art, crafted with pride and intention.
